Astana Women's Team is set to start its 2020 season in Australia: in two stage races and two one-day competitions.

For its second consecutive season, the Kazakh-Italian team will start its season in Australia. It will start in the Santos Women's Tour Down Under, the Race Torquay, the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and the Herald Sun Tour.

The Tour Down Under will be held between the 16th and the 19th of January in the surroundings of Adelaide, then the newly created Race Torquay and the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road race will take place on January 30 and February 1, respectively. And the Herald Sun Tour will be between February 5 and 6.

Cuban rider Arlenis Sierra will lead the team in the competitions and will try to repeat her 2019 win at the Cadel Evans Race, which she thinks is one of the most beautiful victories of her career. "But it will not be easy to repeat, the race has grown and with it also the level of the field," she explained. "But I will try to do my best to be in front, and then we'll see."

Astana Women's Team roster for the Santos Women's Tour Down Under, Race Torquay, Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and Herald Sun Tour:

Arlenis Sierra
Yareli Salazar
Yeima Torres
Marina Ivanyuk
Francesca Pattaro
Katia Ragusa
