Movistar Team is ready to tackle its second appointment of the season: the Vuelta a San Juan and it will field three debutants.

While part of the team is in Australia for the Tour Down Under, other heads to Argentina to start the season at the Vuelta a San Juan. The ProSeries race will start on January 26 and finish on February 2.

Three newcomers have been included in the roster of Movistar for the race: Iñigo Elosegui, Johan Jacobs and Sebastián Mora. They will ride along local hero Eduardo Sepulveda, who is from the region.

The 38th edition of the Argentinian race will offer chances for the climbers during the fourth and fifth stages -the latter will feature a mountain finish in Colorado. The time trial will be 15 kilometres long and will be harder than other editions and the heat and the crosswinds will also play a part in the outcome of the competition.
