Marta Bastianelli sprints to victory at Vuelta CV Feminas

Marta Bastianelli (Ale BTC Ljubljana) has opened her 2020 season with the victory at the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana Feminas.
The women's race of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana was 98 kilometres long over the same route that the men's peloton was going to face later on the day. Ale BTC Ljubljana took control of the pace of the pack at all times and successfully repelled every attack that other riders attempted during the course, which forced the day to a bunch finale.
The Italian national champion was the fastest at the finish line, easily beating her fellow countryman Barbara Guarischi (Movistar)and Teniel Campbell (Valcar - Travel & service).
Ale BTC Ljubljana Fortunato Lacquiniti is glad about the first result of this renewed team. "A perfect teamwork, the ladies have been fantastic and this is a great victory," he affirmed.
