The organisation of the Vuelta a España joins the fight against the Covid-19 virus by providing storage space with its press tent.

The Spanish Grand Tour also wants to give a hand to the country in the coronavirus crisis that it is going through by giving away its press tent for storage. The tent has 200 square metres in its interior and occupies a surface of 375 square metres, being normally the space used by journalists during the race.

The tent was set up in the Pabellón de Cristal building in Madrid and will be used as a space to store and distribute medical material in support of the logistic work that the local government is doing in the Spanish capital.

Spain has been one of the most affected countries by the Covid-19 so far with more than 94.000 people infected and more than 8.100 deaths. The autonomous Community of Madrid has been the part of the country with most cases with more than 27.500 infections up till now.
