Remco Evenepoel (Deceuninck-Quick-Step) will be part of the roster that will tackle the first day of the Digital Swiss 5.

The European ITT champion and winner of the Clasica San Sebastian 2019 is one of the names that will compete for the Belgian team in the virtual race organised by the Tour de Suisse, Velon and the virtual racing platform Rouvy that will be held between the 22nd and the 26 of April.

"I talked the other day with the guys, and they are all looking forward to this, as it should be really fun," said Evenpoel -who will start on the first day along with Dries Devenyns and Pieter Serry.

"We don’t quite know what to expect, but one thing is certain: it promises to be an exciting indoor race series, which is more than welcome in these quiet and strange times when road cycling has been cancelled. It’s great for us, it’s great also for our fans, and I’m sure they will watch and root for the Wolfpack!"

Deceuninck-Quick-Step has also announced the 'Wolfpack Rides', which is a series of rides that will take place every week and in which the fans can join two riders of the team. For the 22nd of April, Sam Bennett and Shane Archbold will be the first ones to have the public at 4:30 Central European Time.
