Spanish sports newspaper AS has leaked the UCI calendar for 2020 that will be announced official at the start of the week which includes only WorldTour events, National and World Championships.

The revamped cycling calendar in which the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has been working on for weeks starts on the first of August with Strade Bianche and finishes on the 14th of November with Il Lombardia.

One of the things that stands out the most about this calendar is that the Giro d'Italia -which would be held from the third to the 25th of October- overlaps with seven other races, while the Tour de France only do it with one and the Vuelta a España with two. The national championships have been scheduled to be in the weekend from the 21st to the 23rd of August, while the World championships keep their original dates from the 23rd to the 27th of September.

The leaked calendar puts the Tour de France in the dates that were already announced -from the 29th of August to the 20th of September, the Giro d'Italia from the third to the 25th of October and the Vuelta a España from the 20th of October to the 8th of November. The calendar also includes some stage races and only from the WorldTour: The Tour de Pologne (August 5-9), the Criterium du Dauphine (August 12-16), Tirreno-Adriatico (September 8-14) and the BinckBank Tour (October 1-3).

As it was promised by the UCI, all the Monuments also got their dates: Milano-Sanremo (August 8th), Liege-Bastogne-Liege (October 4), the Tour of Flanders (October 18), Paris-Roubaix (November 1) and Il Lombardia (November 14). Strade Bianche will be on the first of August, the GP Ploulay on the 25th of August, the Fleche Wallone on September 29, the Amstel Gold Race on the 10th of October, Gent-Wevelgem the next day and Dwaars door Vlaanderen on the 14th of October.
