Dutch newspaper AD reports that the move of Marianne Vos to the new Jumbo-Visma women's team is a done deal.

For some days there has been speculation about the creation of a new women's squad by Jumbo-Visma. The Dutch team -that already has experience with women sports as it has a female speed skating team- would be creating this new squad for 2021 and has already had some names linked to it.

Although past rumours have linked to the team names like Anna van der Breggen, Chantal Blaak and Annemiek van Vleuten, Dutch newspaper AD has confirmed that Vos is the first confirmed rider to sign for it. The three-time World Champion -who has a contract with CCC-Liv until the end of 2020- has been one of the most complete riders of the past decade.

In her career, the rider has not only been a road cyclist, but has also been in other disciplines like Cyclocross, MTB, and track racing. She has also in her palmares three titles in the Giro Rosa, a gold medal in the Olympic Games of 2012, and victories in races like La Course by Le Tour de France, the national championships of the Netherlands, La Fleche Wallonne and the Tour of Flanders.
