Sunweb has chosen its roster to face the Tour de Pologne, which will be a five-day race in 2020.

Alberto Dainese and Wilco Kelderman are set to lead the team's ambitions in the first stage-race after the restart of the WorldTour calendar. The Italian will be in charge to attempt to take stage victories on the fast days while Wilco will lead the team's General Classification hopes.

"This year's Tour de Pologne will be slightly shortened, down to five days of racing instead of seven," said Sunweb's coach Luke Roberts. "Three of the stages look like opportunities for the sprinters whereas the other two stages are more difficult and will shape the overall GC. We've just finished a successful team camp at the Vaya Hotel in Kühtai, and the guys are in great shape and really keen to start racing again.

"Alberto will take aim at the sprints, and he will have a very strong group to help set him up with Casper, Florian and Nils. For the overall classification Wilco will lead the team, backed up by Jai and Chris who finished second and eighth respectively in last year's edition of the race."

Sunweb's roster for the Tour de Pologne (August 5-9):

Alberto Dainese
Nils Eekhoff
Chris Hamilton
Jai Hindley
Wilco Kelderman
Casper Pedersen
Florian Stork
