Larry Warbasse has tested positive for Covid-19 and AG2R La Mondiale has been taking precautionary measures about it.
The French team keeps a constant monitoring of the riders and staff and the American rider -who was symptom-free- received a positive result on the Covid-19 test. Because of this, the formation has been taking general precautionary measures concerning certain riders and members of the staff.
"These measures mean in particular that Geoffrey Bouchard, Axel Domont and Ben Gastauer, currently racing at the Tour du Limousin - Nouvelle Aquitaine, will not take the start of the last stage this Friday, August 21st," said AG2R La Mondiale through a statement.
"This will impact the squad for the French National Road Race Championships on Sunday, August 23rd as well, with Axel Domont, Clément Champoussin and Geoffrey Bouchard no longer racing."
