The organisation of Paris-Roubaix has confirmed the route and the invited teams for the first edition of the women's race.

The inaugural edition of the Women's Paris-Roubaix will take place on Sunday, October 25, ahead of the men's race. The peloton will face a 166-kilometre course with a start on Denain at 9:10 in the morning, that will include 29.2 kilometres of cobblestones that will be divided in 17 sectors.

The race will include two of the maximum difficulty sectors that are also tackled by the man's race: the Mons-en-Pevele and the Carrefour de l'Arbre. And the finish of this route will see the first winner of the women's race entering the Roubaix Velodrome to claim the glory of the Hell of the North.

The Hauts-de-France region is one of the partners committed to make this race happen along with FDJ -which already supports women's cycling in Le Course by Le Tour de France and the team FDJ-Nouvelle-Aquitaine-Futuroscope. Amaury Sport Organisation has also confirmed that all the partners of the men's event will also support this newly created competition.
