Women's races la Fleche Wallonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege will be broadcasted live for the first time ever.

Twenty two years after the first edition of the women's Fleche Wallone and three years after Liege-Bastogne-Liege was conceived, both races will be broadcasted live in 190 different countries, with one hour and a half of coverage that includes the final kilometres of each of the competitions and the podium ceremony.

"The appeal of women’s cycling and the amount of resources that race organisers devote to better showcase it keep growing every year," said the organisation of the Ardennes Classics in a statement. "The women’s race will enjoy practically enjoy the same TV production as the men’s, with three motorbikes and a helicopter providing live pictures and Belgian TV channel RTBF acting as a host broadcaster. At the Flèche Wallonne, 11 cameras will capture every metre of the Mur de Huy."

Newly crowned World Champion Anna van der Breggen will show her rainbow jersey for the first time at the Fleche Wallonne, where she will face strong competitors like Marianne Vos (CCC Liv), Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio, Lizzie Deignan (Trek-Segafredo) and Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon-SRAM).
