The UAE Tour has presented its complete route for the 2021 edition of the race.

The race is set to be held between the 21st and the 27th of February and the entire route of it has been announced. This edition of the race will have four stages for sprinters, two for the climbers and one individual time trial, covering a total of 1045 kilometres and with an elevation gain of around 3500 metres.

The first stage of the competition will be 177 kilometres long with a start in Al Ruwais with a route that will go through the Abu Dhabi region and with a finish in the coastal city of Al Mirfa on a day that will be suitable for the fast men. Next day, the riders will face a 13-kilometre-long individual time trial with a start and finish in Al Hidyriat Island.

On the third stage, the peloton will go through a 162-kilometre-long route with a start on the headquarters of Strata Manufacturing, located in Al Ain international airport, and an already mountain finish on Jebel Hafeet, a 10-kilometre ascent. The fourth day of competition features the longest route with 204 kilometres that will finish on a flat stretch that makes it another day for the sprinters.

Stage 5 is 170 kilometres long and begins in Fujairah city and the riders will face a climb to Jebel Jais tops aout at 1491 metres above the sea level. The next two stages will be 168 and 147 kilometres respectively and both will have flat finishes suitable for more battles among the fast riders.

Riders like Tadej Pogacar, Adam Yates, Chris Froome, Mathieu van der Poel, Filippo Ghana, Sam Bennett, Caleb Ewan, Pascal Ackermann and Fernando Gaviria have already confirmed their participation in the Emirati race.
