Israel Start-Up Nation has announced a modification of its calendar due to three Covid-19 cases.

The Israeli team won't be at the start of five small races that will be held in June after three staff members tested positive with Covid-19. But the formation will be starting at the Tour de Suisse as none of the staff members nor riders of it have been in contact with the people that tested positive, and will continue on the Criterium du Dauphine.

The races that Israel Start-Up Nation will skip are: Grosser Preis des Kantons Aargau, Dwars door her Hageland, Elstedenronde, Baloise Belgium Tour and Adriatica Ionica Race. "Obviously, we would have liked to line up in these great races, for which the riders have trained hard to do well," said General Manager Kjell Carlström.

"However, the health of our staff and riders, as well as safeguarding all other teams, will always come first. We don't want to take any risk that may jeopardize anyone. In a situation like this, it's better to be safe than sorry."
